Tolperisone + Lidocaine

Indications

Organic neurological disorders (e.g., pyramidal tract injury, multiple sclerosis, myelopathy, encephalomyelitis, etc. ), muscular hypertension, muscular spasm, muscular contracture, rigidity, spinal automatism and discopathy, obliterative vascular diseases (obliterative arteriosclerosis, diabetic angiopathy, obliterative thromboangitis, Raynaud's disease, etc. ), muscular hypertension (acrocyanosis, intermittent angioneurotic dysbasia). Post-thrombotic venous and lymphatic circulation abnormalities, crural ulcer in some situations.

Pharmacology

Tolperisone Hydrochloride is a muscle relaxant with a central action. It successfully lowers muscle hypertonicity, enhances peripheral blood flow through vasodilation, and alleviates pain. Lidocaine acts as a local anesthetic by stabilizing the neuronal membrane by suppressing the ionic fluxes essential for the initiation and conduction of impulses.

Dosage & Administration

The usual dose is one ampoule twice daily by intramuscularly. Injection should be given slowly. Accordingly to age and symptom, the dosage may be changed.

Contraindications

Myasthenia gravis, hypersensitivity to any component of the product, nursing mother.

Side Effects

Muscle weakness, headaches, nausea, vomiting, and hypersensitivity reactions are all possible adverse effects.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Tolperisone hydrochloride should only be used during pregnancy if your doctor recommends it. Tolperisone hydrochloride should not be given to a nursing mother.

Precautions & Warnings

In the case of children, the suggested dose and treatment time should be strictly adhered to.
